Arai chuckled. 'Don't make me be serious. Everyone knows better than to awaken a dragon.' With a flick of his wrist, he was suddenly wearing jagged armour, his wings dripping black mist. 'Kai,' he called. 'Would you like to play with our new friends? They said their pretty tough, so try your best!' He lunged forward, his twin scythes flashing. Strangely enough, he seemed to only attack on his left side, like he was half blind. Infusing his weapons with ether, he coughed as he fought, draining too much at once. He deflected a beam of energy away. I really can't keep this up, he thought. Too much longer, and I'll be out of essence to fully control Kai. I'll just keep them fighting. Maybe I can slip to the basement.

Nicote suddenly morphed too....into a phoenix. SO did newt and Ema. Their elemental daggerblades flashed. Newt managed to hit Nai with some water.

Arai suddenly collapsed, leaning on one of his scythes. He flinched as an attack hit him. He removed the armoured mask that had been covering his face. His left eye was a smoky black, his right seemed to emit dark flames. His dark-silver hair was flat on his scalp. Running his crystal hand through it, he saw an opening to the basement door. Instantly, he bolted towards it.

The bolt caught him square in the chest, throwing him against the wall. Coughing, he stood and leaned against it for support. He kept slipping, his scythes no longer there to keep him up. He glared at Newt, and chased for the door again.

Ema grabbed the feather from Nai and tore it to bits.
Newt kept shotting light at arai, nicote reflecting them when they bouced back.
