She licked at her pups, the pain slowly going away. "How many are there?" she asked.

Tala
She slowly recovered from the stretching pain, getting up on her feet.

Akira lifted her head at the scent of new pups, whimpering at the fact that she may never have a pack of her own. She stood up and stretched out her limbs to shake off her sleep. her cage was fairly large because the scientist trusted her. She has been here since she was a pup and really only had one incident that got her in trouble and cost the scientist his life. That was right after she was captured but she has now learned to trust them and in turn they grew to trust her. She does get to come out of her cage from time to time, usually if the scientists needed to burn something or if another subject was being unruly. She peeked out at the bars to try to see the pups but they were too far and instead she saw a scientist approaching her.

Cobalt whined quietly, rubbing his mouth against the side of his flank. He had expected the cage to break, for few things resisted the strength of his jaws.

Warren
"There's nine, love," Warren said.

Cobalt closed his jaws, the pain subsiding. Snarling at the thick bars that kept him trapped, he sat down and looked at what was outside them.

Fala
*Woah.* She sniffed at her pups, flicking her tail. She realized that a white substance was next to her. *Uh, is that milk?* she asked, hair raised.

Warren
Warren sniffed it, and gently whispered, "Yes, that's milk," as the first of the pups latched onto Fala's teets.

Seeing the other creatures outside his cage, some free, some in other holds, Cobalt slowly built up to a loud growl, furious that human scientists, [in his opinion] the weakest species, had imprisoned him, one of the strongest Phantasmas.

Fala
She stood still when the pups fed, but looked down at her unloved paws. *Oh, still need gloves.*

Warren
Warren puled out the gloves he'd taken from Tala, saying, "Take these."
