you mange to unlock it! the moment the chains fall off it shoots out along the cave system. it looks at you motioning to it's back. it will take you along the trail to where you need to go in return for freeing it.

soon you arrive in a wide cavern ahead of you, you see about a dozen shadowy figures. exactly like the ones that stole Gaiohia's sanctified water! and they have the Conch!

They are talking about something. but your too far away to hear. suddenly one of them notices you. 10 of them come after you while the other two (who are holding the conch) begin to run away. The dragon engages 5 of the 10. leaving 5 coming after you.

The strategy seems to work as you chipped of half of the berry.
You have gained another level in Archery
Cherokee smiled and tried again with the remaining parts of berry.
