(Yeah sorry but if that detail wasn't there then that would mean angels can be defeated by humans, and because all other ethereals are weaker than angels that means other ethers would have to be significantly weaker than humans, and that would snowball into ethers just being very vulnerable all the time)


Virv quietly stays by her.

(Im not saying the ethereal are weaker than humans. The humans either work with etherials in the case of the grims, or find out [from the grims] about ethereal weaknesses they can exploit to capture them. But fair.)

Luna sighed.

(Basically they need anti-magic to keep an ethereal from returning home. And while theres enough of it in most realms, theres just not enough anti-magic to trap an angel in the human realm, unlike with other ethers such as strix)
