Ema came back wiht a third plate of sweets. She looked hyped.

Nicote tried not to barf watchign her from across the room.

He cringe at the sight and lean toward her once more. " I think you had enough, we dont want to attract attention on you..."

"Mmprph." she sighs troug ha mouthful of chocolate. She (still alarmingly quick) finishes her palte, does whatevershe's supposed to do with it, and sits back down again.

He sigh and stare icilly at her, nothing personal of course it was just his normal stare to him. " Try not to attract too many people here, i dont want unnecessary issues..."

She glanced at him. "Y-yes s-s-sir."

Turning his attention on the crowd he asked. " Answer truely... am i scaring you?"

"....Y-yes, a b-bit s-si-sir." she stammered, a little shocked at the question. "N-no o-offense, sir." she added hastily.

Ahelissa smiled gratefully at Remilia and wound her way through the crowd. Many people glared and muttered some things under their breath about her that she preferred to pretend like she didn't hear.
When it seemed like Remilia wasn't looking, a girl that looked to be about twenty and very finely dressed stuck out her foot and tripped Ahelissa. The redheaded slave came down on the marble floor on her hands and knees. She hissed in pain at her throbbing right knee, then quickly picked herself up. While she paused to dust off her new dress, the older girl came up behind her and hissed into her ear, "Stupid groveling brown-collar rubbish. You're lucky your owner is here to protect you, you worthless mongrel."
Ahelissa's face flushed red with anger, and she quickly ducked past the remainder of the crowd until she rejoined Remilia, limping ever-so-slightly at the already- forming bruise on her knee.

" It was to be expected... Dont be, you have no raison too" He whisper the last part so only her could hear it.

Ema blinked. Very confused. But she simply nodded.
