Theon looked at Ase in confusion, "Who do you mean?"

Ase~
"Mia." She answered sadly. "My daughter, though it's not how you think, she was adopted. He took her from me when he left. I-I how she is okay."

~Theon~
Theon frowned, "She probably is but... I don't know how to say this... this guy is probably hoping you'll give yourself in for her..." Theon didn't say what he thought would happen next though, if this man was any sort of strategist the conclusion was not too difficult to assume. A hostage was useless once you had what you were after...

~Nights~
Nights liked it here in the tunnels, they reminded her of her other masters home. Without a moments hesitation she leapt up onto a table and sat watching the two "humans".

Ase~
"I want to help her, I do but I don't want to hand myself over to him. Not again." She shivered in though of what could happen to her. If she could heal things imagine what she could do for a trapper! Healing dying pets just so they could get the color from them. It was sick just the thought. Though the thought of Mia was more so sickening. She could be dead for all she knew. Don't let that be so, she prayed. "All I want is to hold a child in my arms one last time, just once before I leave this world."

~Theon~
Theon felt his heart sink at the sound of Ase's voice, he knew he couldn't ask her to forget her daughter even if it was causing her such grief. All he could do was be there for her.

Theon helped Ase onto her bed and sat down next to her, holding her close with one arm while he gently brushed the hair from her face with his other hand.

Ase~
"I've always liked the feeling of being a mother, even though I have never had the chance to have my own children. One day, just one day I want to be able to hold a baby in my arms and go 'that's my child.' " she was teary eyed again though this time it was more of a happiness thing. "I'm sorry I was rambling again."

~Theon~
"It could still happen..." Theon said as he took her hand in his and reached into his pocket to withdraw somthing.
He opened his hand and showed her what he had made.

"Would you... would you be my..." his heart was pounding so fast it was hard to get the words out, he took a deep breath and let it out all at once. "Ase, I want you to be my wife."

Ase~
Wife? He-he was proposing? Even after all she had done, told, messed up? Tears again stung her eyes though she was sure that this time it was from joy instead of sorrow. "Yes..." She chocked out first. "Yes." She threw her arms about him in a hug. She didn't want this moment to end, though it seemed to just be beginning.

~Theon~

Then hugged her tight, he felt light as air right now. Without hesitation he kissed her straight on the lips. He felt happier than he had ever felt before. Maybe now, maybe with her... Things would be better.

Ase~
She had never felt better, true they had only met the day before but there was little to be told about them for they shared so many commons. Now though as they sat imbraced it seemed that maybe it was meant to be almost. Reluctant she pulled away. "You have no clue how much this means to me." She said happily.
