"Alright. I'm assuming you want me to leave right away?" I say, raising an eyebrow. "And where's the Winding River?" Then, I notice her expression. "And... stop looking so surprised. Please. I am fully able to cooperate, even if it is only when I want to. And if I'm sure I won't get beheaded for not cooperating."

I narrowed my eyes but then sighed. Perhaps I should come back later, when he was less angry. But what if it would be too late by then?
