Nicote meanwhile is dealign with a cluster of delegates who ask questions that are giving him a headache-partly due to some of them being ones he'd rather not answer. Like why he looks 16 when he's not.

While he coudn't openly strike a conversation with her without seeming suspicious, he was after all seen as a cold prince, he instead pick a small card from his pocket and wrote on it before sliding it to her.

Relax, i just wanted you not to be overly harrassed by the guests tonight, you have nothing to fear from me.

She glanced at it, brow furrowed, lookign confused. She didn't read the language, she'd tried but she couldn't seem to understand it, even with Nicote's trying to teach her (spoiler: because she was picked up at 7 and had never gone to school or anything)

He sigh in anoyance and pick the card back, she apparently coudn't read and this place wasn't the right environnement to change that.

He remained quiet for a while, glaring at the crowd with his usual cold gaze he had come to be known for, silently thinking of another way to communicate with her without seeming suspicious or too open about it.

Once more he sigh in anoyance and lean slightly toward her, making sure it would look like he was simply admiring those who were dancing. "You can go and have fun for a bit but stay near or the guests will start swarming at you..."

She nodded and quickly jumped up, makign her way to the food table, and immediately coming back with a plate full of sweets (which she ate in an alarming amount of time) befoe goign for more.

Nicote sidled over. "Kee a check on her swet intake, will ya? She'll never stop if you don't stop her." then he disappeared again.

" Oh dear..." he mutter while watching her going back for more, he was expecting her to go dance or somthing, not to go wild on the food.
