I take it back to where Rosepetal is sleeping, Whitecloud trotting behind me and we inspect the stone, but dont touch it

"Um, not exactly. I woke up in the forest and eventually found my way here. Well with the help of Bella, I think she helps run the inn."
You both exit the Inn and walk down through the town. Lila's eyes dart all around the place as she searches for any sign pointing towards a river. She hums then asks.
As you slowly turn around you notice that there is another human (?) on the gravel path. Oddly they appear to be walking backwards. A thick greyish blue fog swirls around them at a speed that shouldn't be possible. A high pitched giggling fills the otherwise quiet space and you can't help but back up a few steps.
What should you do?
I try and run away down the path, away from whomever that is. Not messing with that hot mess.
You step closer and closer to the structure listening for a reply, but none seems to come. An exited yip draws your attention to a patch of large bright yellow flowers that were glowing a faint red in the sun.
You carefully climb back down and land gracefully on the ground next to Meteorite. He whistles and stares at you in an almost apologetic look. Your stating to think it might just be best to keep the egg...
