Iist was about to reply in jest, but stared open-mouthed at Kirito returning to them. "I...uh..." she said softly, a bit stunned from seeing him for the first time since exiting the temple. "Hi, Kirito! Welcome back."

He grunted but didn't reply. He threw the stag down and glared at Connie, wiping some more blood off of his face. He was covered in it from head to toe. "oh dear, did you go and kill the whole herd?"

Iist felt awkward, unsure how to talk to her stand-offish and intimidating spirit. She was happy enough that Connie wasn't afraid of him at least. "W-well, we ought to prep it, shouldn't we? Can I help with something? Like making the fire or skinning the stag?" She got up and dusted herself off, ready to make herself useful, and also a tinge hungry.

Kirito pointed at it. Connie sighed, "You should look away for this part. Humans tend to dislike it."

"A-ah, umm." Iist turned away from the stag. She knew that it only made sense to take the stag apart if they were to eat it. "Do you need anything else? Like firewood?"

There was no path. You'd just have to wander.

I wander in a different direction from the trees, making sure to keep alert in case of danger

Connie shook her head, "What would we light it with?" You saw the end of her lance and heard the stags skin being sliced. You then heard a gruesome ripping sound from the body.

"A spark. Just a bunch of friction from sticks or such." Iist turned her body away, but with the corner of her eye, looked for Kirito, wondering what he'd be doing while Connie took the stag apart.
