It buzzed furiously and clamped down hard, and Ash cried out in agony. His fingers on her throat tightened.

"Fine. I'm as good as I can be right now."

The edge of her vision is hazy, but she doesn't care. She pulls harder, her claws unsheathing more. Her claws are scratching him a little, but she can't really get it out without accidentally scratching him.

" which isn't good. " She looked over at Isiea and Ash and her eyes widened a bit. Mostly in surprise.

The bug hissed again...and loosened its hold, still fighting her all the way. Ashs grip tightened once more.

"Do it," he rasped, but he spoke to Puck.

The sword wavered as he swept it toward Ash, standing and moving towards hiim

She feels dizzy and she knows she's probably going to pass out. But she refuses to stop- in fact, she pulls harder.

Lise grabbed Ashs hand on Isieas throat.

A crackle and a flash of light, and Ash convulsed, shoving them away. There was a glint of light, of something tiny and metallic, fly up toward the ceiling, and Ash staring at his hands in horror. The metal spark hovered in the air a moment, than zipped toward the girls with a furious buzz.

Pucks hand shot out, snatching the bug from the air, hurling it to the floor. For a split second, it lay there glinting coldly against the ice. Then his boot smashed down and ground the bug into oblivion.

Lise fell back at and stared at the bug remains, then looked up towards Ash.

Isiea vaguely realizes that she's done it, but then passes out.
