The bubble hes in is taken to a different room. Once there, it suddenly pops, causing him to fall flat on his face onto the stone floor below. Once hes out, the light demon leaves and shuts the door behind it.

Its jet-black in the room. However, being a katsiren, that doesnt mean that much. He can still see most of the room.
