The duchess looks annoyed but ocmplies. Ema looks confused.

"Youll be following any orders within reason he gives ya. I'll call you if i need you for something, wich I shouldn't." nicote grunts. Ema nods and watches as he goes off to do his duties before turnign back to (*insert name here*)

Emrys let a smile come to her face as Lidia returned the compliment.
"I almost look forward to that side I'm going to see, but don't worry, I won't rub it in too much." She smiled as she got up with Lidia's help. She remembered meeting suitors when she was younger, and although she likes to dress up and look nice, she didn't particularly enjoy the way she was looked at, like a prize instead of a person.
"Let's pray he isn't too touchy. I could always accidentally spill some piping hot tea on him if you really need saving." She snickered, half joking half serious as she walked towards the door. "Or just start talking about ambassador stuff, I am supposed to be the ambassador's son either way."

Lidia smiled back softly. "That part of me is forced, just letting you know.", Lidia corrected her. She hated the thought of being a secondary monarch to a man who only married you because of your looks, hell she didn't want to marry a man at all.
"Luckily for you, one of the guards' drinks will cause him to be impaled halfway through and then we could make our move.", Lidia chuckled, playfully slapping her shoulder lightly. She followed close behind, giggling still.
Lidia jumped when she was stopped by the young leather collar lady. She was gasping for air. "M-mistress, I have news.", She huffed.

"Yes, what is it?", She murmured.

"Riften said he will meet you with the knights outside of the kingdom, he didn't give me details though.", The girl replied quickly.

Ahelissa cheered ecstatically and skipped off after Remilia. But, as she walked down the hall, it was hard to keep up with her mistress. It was almost like she was invisible, with people stepping on her and jostling her, while the crowd just seemed to part for the duchess. As she muttered "Excuse me, sorry," for the umpteenth time, she just lost her patience and started throwing elbows. Her only apology was, "Sorry, cake is at stake here! Make way!" She had never gotten so many dirty looks and stink eyes in her entire lifetime. It wasn't like they couldn't see her! Ahelissa was 5'6" and her hair was basically a neon red sign. Finally, she managed to catch up to few feet behind Remilia,

Averill gesture to Ema to follow him, since he had to conserve the apparence he didn't directly talk to her while they were surrounded by high class guests. Since he wasn't one to enjoy being trapt in the middle of the ball room he went and sit at a table a bit away from the activities.

Ema followed. Because she had to.

"Even if it is, it would be quite entertaining to see." Emrys replied bluntly with a little smile on her face. "I never enjoyed suitors, but it was always to funny to gush at them and watch them completely fall apart at your feet. Honestly, men can be too easy with just one bat of a girl's eyelash."
Emrys gave a small chuckle, and tilted her head slightly when the leather collared slave relayed her message to Lidia.
"I thought we weren't leaving until after the ball, was there a change of plans? I hope no one's hurt." She mumbled the last part, looking at the floor to ponder for a minute what might have caused them to leave so early.

Remilia gave a small sigh, disliking how rude the people were around her to Ahelissa now. Honestly, Ahelissa would be higher ranking than all of these commoners if not for that collar on her neck. She did almost give out a unrefined snort when she heard the cake being at stake. She glanced behind her shoulder at Ahelissa, giving an impatient sigh at the people around her.
"If you all would so kindly move your rear ends for my slave, that would make matters much easier." She said out loud with a sharp glare to the ladies and gentlemen in the hall with a pretty scary glare. She suddenly gave a fake cheerful smile, as if to cover up that she had come undone a bit. There were some murmurs before people stepped aside a bit more. "Your Duchess thanks you all!" She said with fake cheerfulness, and grumbled something under her breath about them being idiots.

"I'm telling you it's going to be gross!", Lidia laughed. "I agree, the ladies seem to be the ones that swoon the men." The blonde leaned against her, slapping the back of her hand against her forehead playfully.
Lidia told the girl to relax and get herself a drink before turning back to Emrys. "I'm thinking if those two are gone our biggest threat of getting out without trouble tonight is dead or wounded.", Lidia speculated curiously. She rubbed her chin. "I am a little mad that they had left but, as long as they are safe.", Lidia sighed, fixing her dress.

He stared around icilly and when he deemed it somwhat acceptable for him to do so he directed his attention to her. " Dont stand there, come and sit down already."
