She slowly begins to calm down.

A spear flies past them and into the river. "Time to move," Grimalkin said, jumping down. Ash dismounted, too, offering a hand to Lin.

She quickly takes his hand.

He helped her off his massive horse and said. "Alright, we have to swim across. Just make it to the other bank. If you get separated, just stay where you are on the bank and I'll find you." A thick mist hovered over the river and the opposite bank. Grimalkin had already started to swim. One of the bone-tipped spears nicked Lin's arm

She hops into the water. Shes a surprisingly good swimmer.

The current is strong. There's a splash to her right which indicates that Ash had jumped into the river.

She soon reaches the other side.

So does Ash and Grimalkin, but it's really hard to see through all the mist. There was a girl with blonde hair and wide green eyes both anxious and curious as she stared at Lin. Her skin was the color of summer grass, and tiny scales gleamed silver around her neck.

She sees her, but doesnt pay her much attention.

A small white dress clung to the girl's body. She had just come out of the water, too. She cocked her head. "You're funny looking," she stated, her voice rippling like water over rocks. "What are you?"
