Squawking, the bird grabbed your paw in it's beak and threw you. Turning to Lint, it grabbed her body and and pressed down hard. Lint cried out in pain, trying to claw at its beak. Throwing Lint down, it grabbed Claudio and put its talons on top of you and Lint.

Claudio roared but couldn't fight the bird. "What do you want!" Claudio growled.

The bird screeched and pressed down harder with its talons. Lint's paw was reaching out until she grabbed the dagger that Claudio threw, and drove it into the bird's talon. It screeched and turned to Lint. Lint threw the dagger to Claudio and growled at the bird.

Claudio used his weight against the bird. The bird being lighter was no match to Claudio's weight. He thrusted himself upwards. His dagger in hand. He drove the dagger into the bird's chest hoping to have hit the heart.

The bird started to fall, but in a last ditch attempt it drove its beak into Lint. Lint screamed and fell limp, though her chest was moving a tiny bit. The bird squawked, something that sounded more like a dying turkey, and fell aside.

Claudio looked at Lint and he started to sob. "All because of my foolishness......." Claudio cried.

Lint coughed, a tiny sound like a dying mouse taking a last breath.

Claudio roared and he started to dig a hole to bury Lint.

She coughed again, louder and her eyes fluttering.

Claudio looked up and went over to her. "Hey Lint!" Claudio said.
