"Because magic requires energy, and what if I run out? Then all I could do is sit back and wait for my energy to recover. Besides, nothing beats the adrenaline rush the unrestrained violence of combat produces," Saerien explained as he removed the rest of his armor. He had brown leather pants on underneath his armor. Saria also removed her armor, but, once again, had nothing on under it. She quickly pulled on her mail skirt to cover herself before slipping a pair of pants like Saerien's on.

Anonymous rolled his eyes, but Indo seemed interested (and not in Saria). *may i ask something?*

"Depends upon the question," Saerien said, putting his arm around Saria's shoulders as she sat down beside him.

Indo figited, nervous. *can you two... train me?* he asked, using all his vocabulary.

Black and White swiveled to look at him, shocked. their pack leader never - repeat, NEVER - asked for help, or a blade to battle with. Indo held up a hand and continued.

*i used to tooth and claw fight. but when will more be needed? i want ready for then. you fighters, and strong. i wish to learn how fight with blade and axe and all. can you teach? please?*

"Of course. I, no, we would be glad to help," Saria said.

Saerien grunted his assent.

Indo smiled. *thank you. we start now?*

"Sure, just let me get my gear together," Saerien said, selecting an assortment of knives and hand axes. One of the knives had a blade that looked like it was lava, another was the one he had shown off earlier, yet another was pure white, and another, which was identical in shape, which was pitch black. There were also several different axes with different shaped blades. "Okay, I've got some knives and axes here. Choose two knives and one axe to learn to use for now."

Indo eyed them all, and picked the lava dagger, the dagger from before, and a axe that was pitch black and seemed to hum. *alright, now?*
