Altair-
Helping the human he pushed the bodies up into the pile of growing bodies. The taste of blood was heavy in his mouth, from both the humans and having helped Maria. It was nasty though he looked past it as the humans talked. He knew that look that females got when they favored a male, and Ase had it now. "She wishes you to be her mate." He said towards the male human as he passed. The woman inhaled deeply but didn't deny this statement.

~Theon~
Theon didn't know how he should respond at that moment, this wasn't exactly the best time to discuss such things, after all there was nothing romantic about a pile of burning bodies. So Theon just went quiet while he thought the subject over as he cleared the perimeter of the pile so the fire wouldn't spread once it was set.

Dark cowered. The human tried to attack Shadow. Shadow zipped around. She attacked the human alone but she didn't know how much longer she could go on. She tried to win but the human didn't even sweat. Shadow growled. Then she was roughly grasped as a hunter had snuck up on her. She struggled to get free. She didn't want her kits ever to be alone.

Ase~
She blushed and gritted her teeth. "It's true alright. After almost losing you today I relized how hard life would be with out you...I don't want to lose you."

~Theon~
Theon turned towards Ase with a sort of sad smile, "Look right now... its not exactly the best time to be discussing this." he said as he gestured towards the pile.
In truth he too was preparing to pose a rather important question to Ase but, filthy, shirtless and covered in blood was not how he wanted to be when he did so.

Ase~
"Believe me, I know." She was flustered with herself, with the boar for having brought it up. "I'm sorry..." She said sniffling as she held back tears. She had screwed up, popped the question too early. If he left it was all her fault now. Not thinking she stood and walked away silently. She needed time to think, to call down.

~Theon~
As much as he wanted to follow her Theon knew it wouldn't do much good. Instead he went about setting the fire. He could feel Altair's gaze over his shoulder as he kindled the tiny spark in a handfull of dry grass untill it was a full fledged flame. He fashioned it into a torch and went around the pile to make sure nothing was missed. "You know, humans generally prefer others to mind their own business when it comes to their mates." he said to the morkko over his shoulder as he stepped back from the pile.

Altair-
"I thought it was clear what she wanted." He said muzzling another body to the pile. "I meant nothing but to help."

Ase~
Tears streamed down her face as she recalled the last time she had this feeling. It was terrible! What if she lost him? How would she live through it this time? Last time she had almost took her own life, though Altair had saved her, and now he was the one to blam for this. How would she fair losing them both?

~Theon~
"Yeah well, I'm not exactly the best at reading expressions if you didn't notice." he said as he tossed the torch onto the top of the pile. His tone wasn't bitter or angry, just sad. "Make sure it doesn't go out." he said to Altair as he turned and walked towards Ase.

He spoke in a soft kind voice though he didn't touch her, "Come on, lets go inside and get cleaned up okay?" he reached out a hand to help her up, but that was the extent of what he was willing to do in terms of physical contact while still so filthy.

Ase~
"Please just leave me be, I-I want to be alone for a little." For maybe a second time she was happy he couldn't see what a mess she was in. The doll was grasped in her arms as she held it closely to her chest. Why? Why did he take her with him? Andre had never been the nicest of people but when he left he also took with him the child they had practically raised together. Not saying that Ase was the mother, no but they had adopted the child as their own. That was one of the many things the man seemed to want to take her with him when he left. The doll was a clear reminder of that, of the chance she was never able to have before. It was just too much to take in, there was so much going on right now. Between what she was feeling towards the man and the fact that Andre had nearly found her yet again it was too much to take on at the moment. She knew these men, their faces she had seen many a time before. Now they were all dead. Clearly they had been sent for her, for no doubt the power she held. Andre was the only other person besides Theon whom knew. This meant she would have to move, to hide yet again from the one she had misloved before.
