Climbing up the tree, she was shocked to find the eggs were Robin bird eggs and to see the blue jays cracking open and eating her meal. She barked and they flew off, leaving 1 untouched egg. She grumbled and picked it up. Finishing the remains of the 7 seven eggs the blue jays had cracked, she climbed down the tree. Once on the ground, she looked at the trees carefully, hoping to spot any nests.

Claudio managed just barely to get some honey before getting stung by a bee. Strangely the bee wasn't normal and the hive was huge. Claudio licked the honey off his paws sitting outside the cave.

Spotting another nest, she pondered why it was so absurdly large and the eggs in it too. She was about to take them when she heard a loud scree from above. her eyes grew wide as she thought back to the her book "Every animal, even birds and fish and insects like ants, bees, and wasps, were mutated." In front of her was a humanoid bird the size of a bear. She squealed and grabbed an egg, half climbing half jumping off of the tree.

Claudio took out a book and started to write calmly. He wrote more on the story of his life. Suddenly he ran out of pages. Claudio growled and tried to find another book but didn't find another.

She felt a sharp pain in her tail and then the hot trickle of blood. Grabbing a stone, she threw it at the bird and hit it square in the eye. This seemed to do little to stop it and only made it go faster. Spotting the cave and Claudio, she screamed "RUN!" And slid into the cave opening.

Claudio saw the bird and roared. "What do you want!" Claudio said standing up to his full height which made him tower over the bird.

The bird squawked and tackled you, driving you into the den wall.

Claudio got out a dagger and drove it into the bird's body.

It froze, but then pecked at your eyes. Lint screamed and jumped on its back. Biting its neck, she clawed at its face.

Claudio's eyelids closed just in time to protect his eyes. He opened them and he was blinded by rage. He tossed away the dagger and clawed at the bird.
