Lint looked around. "If we can use these rocks to block up the entrance a bit, maybe we can hide better from the bears" She said as she picked up stones and stacked them at the cave entrance.

"Yeah......... I guess." Claudio said.

Finding a particularly large flat stone, Lint set it up do that it covered the whole entrance. Lint jumped around until she managed to find a few lanterns and scare a few light bugs into shining. Lighting the lanterns, she set them around to light the cave. It wasn't that big, but it was enough for another bear and wolf to fit. Lint stretched out and said "I can go hunting later if we need food, and I can scavenge for water".

The male leopard smiled familiar though Maria could not place a claw on where she had smelled that scent before. Carefully she sat beside him still weary of him. After a while of watching the flames together he fell into a deep sleep. It was then that she saw the missing claw on his left hand, thus sparking her memory. He had been at the lab! He was the one that had helped her escape. With a pure she snuggled him closer licking his ears. His name was Altair, and he had been her partner, her friend at one point before they had been separated. She knew that he had liked her, he wasn't good at hiding it. A purr escaped her as she hugged him close. Maybe her life had started to turn around after all.

Lint got up and said "I'm going hunting". With that, she went to go outside.

Claudio nodded and he got up. He paced the cave.

Outside, Lint stalked carefully through the woods, listening for any noise at all.

Claudio sat down and he pondered for a while

Spotting a few birds, Lint crouched down and crawled silently to them. Pouncing, she growled as they flew off. Watching their flight, she grinned as they descended to a nest with eggs.

Claudio squeezed out of the den not able to wait any longer. He walked around carefully.
