" Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I don't want to be a defenseless little thing thrown over someone's shoulder... Thank goodness, then, you were fine with it. " Lilura says, laying on her back on the floor. "and go for what?"
She was about to give him the options of being goofy or something else, before thinking better of it. Because now he'd have to answer in his own words.
"And... I didn't mean to say all teenagers are like that. Most aren't. I was just being the weird little blob called Lilura." Lilura says, throwing her arms out to the side, careful not to hit Casey

"You? A blob?" He scoffed. "I may not have paid attention in most places, especially school, but that doesn't mean that I'm stupid enough to take the blob excuse. I'm pretty sure a blob is an inanimate object. Probably. And I'm pretty sure blobs don't think, or care about anyone, or worry about returning a book to the library when there are bigger things to worry about." He quickly added, "Just saying," with a shrug.

Lilura sits bolt upright. "Right! The library book! I need to return it!" She says, hopping to her feet to find the book, only to slip and fall backwards on her back again.

He attempts to catch her before her back hits the ground. He knows just how painful it is to land on your back and have the wind knocked out of you.

Lilura nervously chuckles, "Like I said. I fall too many times to count. Thanks for having my back." Lilura takes a moment to catch her breath even though she hadn't hit the floor. Carefully, she gets back up again.

"You really are as clutzy as you said, huh?" He asked, teasing her. He made sure to be right next to her so she wouldn't fall and crack her head open. She might not have done it yet, but there was a first time for everything.

" half the time, yes. The other half, my quirk kicks in. " Lilura says, trying to laugh the close call off. "Thanks again..."

"Don't worry about it. It's an instinct for me to try and help people. Well, most people, anyway. If you ever need anything to lean on, I'm here," he said, half joking

"Really?" Lilura says in a voice half her age as she continues her search for the library book. " you think Luca will be angry at us for trying to find the library book I have yet to return? "

"Yeah, if you need it. And I'm sure she'll understand. Did you drop it when we were running away from prison and to here?"
