I look away and attempt to look at anything except him, not exactly sure how to break the awkward silence, which I don't like since usually I'd just make a joke, but none come to mind right now. Instead I'm left to think of the days events which I hate even more.

He didn't have much to say either. He ruffled his hair and bit his lip awkwardly.

I get up I can't take this anymore "Um, I-I should probably go now, i'm sure you'll want to rest and get some strength for whenever Luuk comes to see you, so uh yeah." I say stumbling over my words a little I head for the door.

I consider going back in to see what had caused him to hurt himself but decide against it, I wasn't supposed to care. Instead I'll go into town in search of a sewing needle.

You see a cute little shop down the road that has a sign with a spool and a needle.
