Ase~
"Come now it can't be that bad." She smiled. After taking a bite she considered retaking that statement though it was easily fixed with a few bits of herbs. Despite being in a constant state of pain she said nothing about it as they ate. "How do you feel? Your not hurt are you?"

~Theon~
"No not at all... though I could've sworn I had been."
He couldn't for the life of him remember what had happened after he had been stabbed in the back. Though from what he remembered the blade should have easily broken several ribs and gone straight into his right lung. By all accounts he should be dead...

Ase~
"It was like magic..." She said a bit dazed. "I went to you when you were hurt and something happened, there was a yellow light and the wounds were gone." She said trying to remember. "I don't know but I feel it was magic..."

~Theon~
Theon blinked and looked up at her in surprise, "You know what? I think so too. Earlier, when we were chasing the ryori in the tunnels... for a moment I... I was in her mind. That's how I knew what was going on, I could see it through her eyes..."
At that Theon closed his own eyes and tried to remember what it had been like, it had happened so fast though that it was difficult to recall.

Theon opened his eyes again, "And... you've never done this before?"

Ase~
"Never, it felt strange to do that. I have no clue how I managed to either." She said sitting the plate aside. "I was so afraid...upset maybe that had something to do with it."

~Theon~
Theon frowned slightly in concentration, "Perhaps, though... now that I think about it, I've always been sorta... connected to ryori. Are you sure you haven't ever done anything similar? Not exactly the same mind you, like back when you were a kid did anything... weird ever happen?"

Ase~
"No nothing that comes to mind that is." She thought for a moment. "Well to think of it there was once, when my vulynx got hurt on a hunters trap. The same thing happened then and mother got really mad at me. She told me never to do it again after that." The woman winced as she stood.

~Theon~
Theon walked over to Ase and supported her by wrapping an arm around her, being careful not to touch her wound. "Careful there, don't strain yourself."

Ase~
She smiled. "I'm fine." She said despite the fact that she had an arm around him as well. As much as she hated to admit it she was in pain, not normally something that happened often. "Thank you again." The woman whispered to him before planting a kiss on his cheek.

~Theon~
Theon smiled and flushed slightly, "It was nothing..."
As he turned his head away from her he could better hear the sound of the two morkko nuzzling and licking eachother. He turned back and whispered in Ase's ear, "Seems we aren't the only ones getting to know eachother better." he said, suppressing a chuckle.
