(Probably not much, except that they're really strong and have song magic)
It's a huge city. It's beautiful, honestly. Everything is made of mixes of stone and hardened sand. Izz can vaguely see sleek forms moving throughout the area, though they're quite far away.

It's other sirens. She can see at least 20 of them. Cammie can see hundreds. It's hard to guess why Camm is so tense- there's a siren city right there! She could very easily just swim over and ask for help.

Kimi and Nelson led the way back to the outside world. They finally stopped at a trapdoor in the ceiling. The trapdoor was oddly shaped: round, gray and heavy looking. It was the bottom of a manhole cover. When Nelson pushed it up to peek through, bright sunlight spilled through the crack, and the smell of asphalt, tar and exhaust fumes assaulted their noses. While the half-troll scanned the road overhead, waiting for a clear spot, Kimi turned to Lise. "This is as far as we go, Im afraid." The little half-phouka looked disappointed as she handed Lise a plastic ID card on a string.

Then one siren notices them. Then another. Then two more. Then five more. 22 in total. All of them head towards them. Seeing this, Camm lets out a curse word and swims away, and the 22 immediately give chase.
