I sigh and in a softer tone I add "But you got him back, and thats whats important, you risked your life to save him, so it all worked out in the end"

I shift uncomfortably I'm not good with this emotions thing, I go to pat his arm reassuringly but change my mine and instead awkwardly brush aside some hair off my face "I-I'll try to help, like I said you can call me if you need help or anything like that. But I doubt I could help with a long term solution." I shrug "Long term isn't my thing."
