"Those math books could knock out a bear if thrown hard enough." Axel pointed out.

Henri had to fight back the urge not to laugh at Axel's comment about the math book. "You're probably right about that but it's a pretty silly weapon. Let's just hope that we won't need one." The thought sent a shiver up their spine, leaving Henri rubbing their arms and wishing for more than a light jacket.

"Anyway, I think any direction is the same as another. North and sunrises and whatever...what if it isn't the same here?" Considering they had never seen flowers so vibrantly purple before or these shapes of leaves, it was best not to assume anything. "Let's just try to walk in a straight line until we find something." With that, Henri fell into step next to Judi, content with the direction that Ethan had already picked.

Axel nodded thoughtfully, then stuffed his hands into his pokect before trailing behind the other three. "Good point."

Azrail followed the group, humming a song to themself, content with knowing that the world wasn't spinning and that they weren't in immediate danger - at least no danger they could see and apart from the fact that they don't know how to get home. It was all good though, because... because... 'cause... 'cuz... They stop humming, trying to figure out the 'because...' .
Azrail tries to find a reason how this was all good, but they were slowly loosing the battle within themself.
"Hey, I know. This is good because we're on an adventure and we're doing something good and we're not dead yet!" Azrail says in a chipper way, not realizing they had spoken aloud. Even to themself, the excuse sounded lame.

Axel stopped in his tracks, then glanced back at Azrail in slight puzzlement. "What was that??"

Azrail's face flushes slightly. "Uh, um... Nothing." They mutter, looking down at their feet. "Just accidentally said something out loud i guess."

The trees were getting taller, maybe that's why the flowers were more vibrant. "I've never seen trees quite as tall as these," said Ethan. He was still walking. "Maybe we can find a centaur. Or shelter." He noticed that some of the flowers they were passing were also orange, red, blue, and spotted. It still seemed just as "sunny" as where they were before, though. He held his math book a little bit tighter.

Zeth looked around at the area, swinging her stick around in boredom.
"If we really need to, we can always make a shelter. We are not guaranteed to find anything, so it's best to have a backup plan."

(when your character is supposed to be extroverted and friendly but you are tired so she ends up being not at all
oof)

"A shelter, huh? Guess we can send people off to get materials if it comes down to that. I don't mind, but I don't think a stick is going to do much as far as survival goes. We definitely need to get our hands on some real weapons.. Or maybe an axe or something." Judi rubbed the side of her head.

"Or a knife?" Henri pipped in. "Haven't you guys ever been camping before? Well, we only pitched a tent once and we didn't need to cut our own kindling but a knife is the most important survival tool!" For a second, Henri's face twisted into a frown as they clutched the wooden whistle around their neck. "...My grandpa taught me that."
