Okay okay I said I'd be back when he was done w shading but I'm so happy w the feathers I have to show you because I've NEVER tried to do detailed feathers before and I did this without a texture brush and without looking at a tutorial and using one reference picture of a real feather and I'm just so happy :,)
I can make them smaller or bigger if you want but I just wanted to show you
You can see the amount of time spent in the bottom right, 9 hours and 46 minutes :3
