At first glance, they come off as cold and emotionless.
In reality, this is just a shield.
Jessie is truly a sweet, shy kid with a heart of gold. They deeply care for those who care about the,, growing attached to others very quickly. They have no one other than themselves, and so them making friends will fill the void left in their heart.
They are not easy to talk to nor are they easy to befriend. They have built a fortress around themselves to keep them from hurting anyone else. Once their shell is cracked, they are talkative, friendly, shy, and supportive.
They are very smart despite his silence and has already started thinking up ways to escape Furnace.

What you did:
Was responsible for the murders of their mother and father.
It wasn't in cold blood, however. Their father was abusive and his mother did little to help. She clung to him like a magnet to a fridge. Even if he did something horrible to her, even if he hurt Jessie to the point where they couldn't get up, she'd always come back to him.
She still loved her child with all of her heart. Though she never defended them from their father, she was always there to tend for their wounds and to sing them to sleep after a long day.
One day, they walked in and saw their mother being strangled by their father. In a rage, they grabbed a knife and jumped on top of their father, repeatedly stabbing him until he stopped struggling, stopped yelling, and eventually stopped existing. Jessie turned to face their mother, covered in blood, smiling with joy. They were both free from him, and could finally live in peace.
The mother mistook this smile as a crazed, maniacal smile. She thought her child had gone crazy. Even though the man she married hurt her badly, she still loved him. Angry, she lunged at her child, trying to kill them. Fearful for their life, they stabbed their mother in the throat, killing her instantly.
They cried, they didn't want to do it. But, if they didn't kill her, then they'd be in her place.
The police burst into the house, having been called by the neighbors because they heard screaming coming from the house, and saw them standing in a large pool of blood, covered in said blood, and standing over the bodies of their parents, murder weapon in hand. They looked emotionless, and the police assumed that they were insane and had killed their parents in cold blood.
Jessie was captured and were dragged to Furnace, they should be arriving any minute now...
Image/Description:
They have pale grey hair that covers their light brown eyes. Their hair is roughly shoulder length and their body shape is that of a stick. They wear an oversized white shirt with rips and tears that hides their stick-like figure and they wear no shoes to hide their calloused and blistered feet. Their hands are large and are also calloused and bruised. Their shirt still has blood stains and blood hides underneath their chewed down nails.
Their hair is matted and looks like it hadn't been washed in years. They smell like it, too. They are short for their age and look younger than what they actually are. They are half-starved and underneath their white, bloodstained, large shirt, their ribs are visible.
They are lightweight and you can't hear them walk or run. Their voice (wow they talk??) is soft and sweet, as well as raspy and it sounds like they are very dehydrated. Probably why their tan skin is so damn pale.

- They still feel regret for killing their mother.
- They have nightmares of the day they killed their parents.
- Is very smart and can think of elaborate plans.
- Because they are lightweight it is very hard to hear them walk or run.
- Does not require a lot of food in order to survive and will give any food they do not want to others that need it.
- They are not strong and will probably die if you punch them.

Let me first say thank you everyone for putting up with me this far, but I forgot something! We need to assign cellmates! If you would prefer no cellmate, just let me know, but if you would like one, choose someone! The character list is there for a reason :3 And please make sure the person who's roleplaying the character you want to be your character's cellmate agrees. Thank you again everyone!
