Renae froze. "They're back for us!" she hissed, scooting closer to Hades, looking scared.

"And yet, I want Barry to feel better." , She said in a low tone. Dahlia opened a cubbord, looking through it. She paused, looking back, getting ready to grab a knife from the counter any second.

The door finally made a clicking sound as it opened and Hades dashed forward.

*Hey bud, its just me* A familiar and friendly voice said comfortingly to the large dog. *Hey,.. sorry you kids have to see me like this... you all probably heard the commotion* Mrs Ryder walked into the front door, her uniform was stained with blood in some area, impossible to know if it was her own or not.

*Oh Catherina, thank god youre back, we were so worried* Ben said as he came out of his room, going to hug his step mom but was pushed back, as she didnt want any blood to get in anyone.

*Everyone get to bed now, I need to go clean up* She said, going into her own bedroom.

*Oh my god I was so scared I thought we were gonna die, thank god mrs Ryder is okay* Tess exhaled shakily as Barrys mom closed her bedroom door. *Someone should probably tell Barry that his mom is back* She suggested.

*I think hes had enough of me for one night... but maybe me telling him would help smooth things over between us* Oliver pondered.

She sighed in relief, shutting the cubbord and stepping out of the kitchen. "I'll tell him." , She offered, shrugging. Before anyone could answer she was heading in Barry's direction. Dahlia knocked on his door lightly, making sure she didn't freak him out. "Hey, Barry." , She said softly, waiting for him to answer.

Renae relaxed visibly when she saw it was just Mrs. Ryder.. "I'll go tell Barry as well," she decided, following Dahlia to their friend's room.

*What do you guys want..?* Barry grumbled from behind the door. *Im not apologizing to Oliver because of his dumb fairytales, if thats what you want* He huffed. He could be heard shuffling around behind the door, likely rolling out of his bed or changing into pajamas.

*Wow... hes really mad about that, isnt he...* Oliver rolled his eyes, muttering something in Spanish.

*Dont worry Ol, hes just in a mood, hell be over it by the morning* Tess sighed.

"I just wanted to let you know your mom is alright as far as I can tell." , Dahlia said calmly, hopping that would make Barry more active or something. "By the way, I'm very sire Oliver doesn't care what you think about the town's folklore." , She said, glancing back at her other friends.

*Really? Moms home?* Barry opened the door to peek out. *Ill be out in a few minutes, Im just gonna change into my pajamas* Barry said, closing and locking the door again.

*Okay... wanna go watch a movie in the basement or something?* Barry said as he came out of his room in pajama pants and a different tank top than he was wearing before.

*Can we watch the princess bride?* Tess asked excitedly, as it was her favorite movie, so she always wanted to watch it whenever they had movie night.

"Yep." , Dahlia replied before going back out to the livingroom. She stayed quiet while Tess was begging to watch her favorite movie. The Princess Bride wasn't too bad to be honest; but she favored some movies over others.

"The Princess Bride is great, I haven't watched it!" said Renae more energetically now that Barry's mother was home. "At least it's not a horror movie, I don't think I'd be able to watch that." She frowned.
