"Good night, Sunny, " he called after her. Flare padded back to his den, pleased to see that Moon was already in her nest. He curled up on his feather covered nest and watched the outside of the camp. He had put Moon's nest behind his, mainly so he could keep an eye on her.

Flare shifted his position so he could monitor Moon. He wondered how she was feeling. Homesick, maybe? Maybe she had been forced into this thing too.
