((Just want to note this is what the ballroom looks like in terms of design, just to keep track myself))
Asher raised an eyebrow, somewhat confused at her murmurings. His parents had turned to watch the crowd as Aewyn spoke, and his mother stared at him with such an intensity that he too walked off the ballroom dance floor as well.
He followed the girl, wondering at the same time how someone could possibly run in a dress- especially one as flouncy as Aewyn had on! He kept his eyes on the rainbow dress and soon caught up to her. "Are you alright? I mean, you ran off really fast." Did I say something wrong? Oh, Mother will kill me if I have bothered the guests...

Aewyn whirled around to face Asher, her dress hitting his legs as it fanned out with her motion.
"You, sir," she said, keeping her voice carefully non-accusatory, "Have some explaining to do. What you said were rebel words. Something a rebel would say. So?" she asked.

Aewyn rolled her eyes to the stars. "Varda save me, boys are clueless!" she muttered before returning her attention to Asher.
"You have completely missed my point," Aewyn said cooly, years of court training keeping her voice level. "The rebel attacks have not been put down. Let's not decieve ourselves so. You know as well as I do that rebels are, at this very moment, plotting to take this castle and the royal family." she paused and searched his face for any emotion. "Are they not, Asher?"

"I-I... I have heard rumors. Are they true?" For once, the Prince seemed too terrified to actually say the words 'rebel attack'. "But I can understand why. They are truly treated terribly and yet we live lavishly while they must worship us to get electricity and water in their homes." He looked away from Aewyn.
