Sage sat in her dorm room awake. She pet her snowy owl named Ice. She sighed and closed her eyes. She missed home and all her classes were nice but she didn't feel comfortable here. It seemed like no one talked to her. She snuck out of the dorm planning to get out of the castle through a secret passage she had found.

Skyler stared at him for a moment stepping closer. For some reason his presence was mesmerizing. Keon on the other hand was Shaking a bit and burying his face into Skys fur.

Sage snuck out and ran across the castle yard towards the forest. She sighed and continued to run. She hated it here! She wanted go home but she would go now. She had to stay at this school though she hated it. Ice followed her.

Alain followed Kaladinas out of the secret exit of the Whomping Willow.
A human girl headed towards them. Alain growled and surged forwards.
Kaladinas resumed her human form and shot a spell at the Werewolf, binding its legs.
Alain furiously tore apart the restraining ropes and spun around towards his Slytherin friend.
Kaladinas backed away nervously, afraid to use a spell that caused any lasting damage...

Sage saw some people and she decided to hold her ground as best as she could. She didn't know who these people were yet she knew enough spells to protect herself. Ice landed on her shoulder. What were they doing? Sage wondered. She took out her wand just in case.

"Alain! Don't do this! This isn't you!" Kaladinas cried, her wand pointed at the Werewolf's heart.
Alain howled and lunged at her. Kaladinas turned into a wolf just in time, receiving the blow, but not being affected by the Werewolf's contaminating powers. Alain stopped and dashed towards Sage again. Kaladinas knocked him out of the way, making the Werewolf turn on her. He jumped on her back and started tearing out clumps of fur on her back and raked his claws on her arms.
She threw him off, leaving Alain temporarily dazed, transformed back into her natural form, and shot a powerful stunning spell at him, rendering him unconscious. Then, she blacked out.

~Time Change: The Next Morning~
~Location: Hospital Wing~

Kaladinas woke up in the Hospital Wing. Her wounds were bandaged, as was an extra one she didn't remember getting, on her neck. Alain lay in a hospital bed next to her, sound asleep.
"Totally absurd! Out there! In the middle of the night!" Madame Pomfrey was saying outside the Hospital Wing's doors.
"This has happened before, Poppy." Dumbledore's calm voice reassured her.
"Not in five hundred years it hasn't!" she retorted.
"Well, she looks okay to me. I must leave now. Her parents are waiting for me up in my office." Dumbledore replied. Kaladinas closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.
Kaladinas heard footsteps walking away, then a loud creak of the Hospital Wing doors.
"Outrageous. Werewolf bites!" Madame Pomfrey muttered to herself.

Sage stayed outside. She had almost been attacked. She wandered into the forest where she became a lion. She talked with Ice and walked around the forest. She was scared for her life.

"Poppy. Let me through." Snape said sternly. Madame Pomfrey blocked his way.
"Y-You can't! They need rest!" she exclaimed protectively.
"I need to talk to them. They're in my house! Now get out of the WAY!!!" Professor Snape said, the last word echoing across the ground, disturbing a few thestrals in the process."

Sage looked around and she closed her eyes. She needed to stay but how can she trust her safety here? She opened her eyes and sat there for a while.

Skyler sat in a chair between their beds asleep Keon curled up in her lap, When Snape burst in she could have hit the ceiling. Keon jolted awake as well " Hey Quiet!" was his only response before Sky Plucked him in the fore head. With a yawn the Hufflepuff sat up " Professor they are fine, Mrs.Poppy is right, If you have questions I'd be glad to answer in their place" she said standing with confidence, of all the professors at this school Snape was the one she was least frightened of, she knew a broken heart from a mile away. Besides it had been a long night and she was in no mood to make small talk. Her arms and muscles hurt, but she didn't show it as she stood her ground.
