Thank you everyone for being so understanding. It really makes me feel a lot better about the delay. I AM out of town again currently but I brought my laptop this time. I will be trying to get the voting posted today but I'm not going to make any promises.
I've also made a decision to help speed things along. Normally, we would have needed to have a Sudden Death voting round to determine who gets eliminated because there were multiple Design Sets that did not get any votes. However, since I do not want to waste anymore time getting on to Round Two, I am just going to make the decision myself. I usually try to avoid doing this because I hate choosing who gets eliminated, but after careful consideration I've decided that since this is MY competition to run, having the power to make decisions like this when necessary is part of my responsibility.
Also, given the scale of this competition, I might do this for all rounds if the need arises, so there will be NO Sudden Death voting round this season. Regular voting will proceed as normal, but if a tie occurs again I will make the decision on who gets eliminated.
Thanks again to all of you for being so understanding and supportive. I am hopeful that future rounds will run a lot smoother.

And the results are in! (Finally...)
NOTE: So, obviously we had a bit of a hiccup on my end with this first round. I apologize to everyone once again for the massive delay in getting these results up. We just had a TON of stuff happen in RL and things were chaotic there for a while. I do NOT anticipate any issues with further rounds, but I thank everyone in advance for their continued patience and understanding if we do have any future problems.

Eliminated Contestants
Kenywi and PureBloodBlackRose
I tried to be completely objective while deciding who to eliminate, so here are a few notes on each designer...
Design Set #6 by Kenywi - I like your neph because you really embraced pairing your favorite and least favorite colors into a design. However, your other two designs were both very similar in their color palettes, and the colors themselves didn't make very dynamic designs.
Design Set #5 by PureBloodBlackRose - Again, there was one design I really liked and that was your Toxic Blood Kelpari (though I didn't understand the name). The colors were nice and the design was very attractive. However, your Festive Aurleon did not look very "festive" and the colors kind of turned into a muddy mess. You're Ny'Vene was on the right track, but overall ended up way too yellow.
EDIT: Accidentally put down the wrong name. PureBloodBlackRose is eliminated and not Toxxicangel. Sorry for the confusion.
To the eliminated designers, please remember that there WILL be a Wildcard Round where you will have a chance to re-enter the competition right before the Final Round and you will also receive a Participation Prize at the end of the competition.
