I've never really designed a wolf character before, but just a few nights ago I ended up creating some werewolf characters, so the timing was perfect. ^^ Free practice, plus a contest!
hey guys, use their's as a quick example, incase anyone is still confused...see how they have added a 'layered' download? Basically for the next round after this one end's, if theirs so happen to win, you guys get to freely edit their file through the layered download without the hassles of 'could you please set this file so i can edit please'? if that makes any sense.

^^ Of course. Raman, Silek, and Galus are the werewolves I was talking about, three best friends for one of my stories. I'm not sure what they would look like yet, though, aside from basic black/silver coats, so I just loosely colored your lineart how I thought some of my wolves might look.
*Ashamed* I never draw animals. I've no idea how to make interesting or realistic wolf designs.

That's what everyone says! That's the problem with fantasy worlds, characters sometimes have names that have meaning in our world, but is nothing but a name in their's.
... But yes, noodles. :}
It was late at night when I came up with the name... and by the next morning, I was too attached to change it. ^^;

Hoo, I've got the expressions and the colouring all down, and I do believe I can pull up an image link, but I've got no clue how to have a link that has the layers. I looked at that example link like you said, yet I am really slow when it comes to computer things.
**HANGS HEAD**
Sorry I'm making you handhold me; I guess in the future I should stay away from the digital art department.
(And thank you very much, LivingInMyOwnReality. GIMP seems to be working out alright except for a minor zooming difficult which is of my own doing, but I really appreciate the suggestions.)

Sounds fun! I'll try it. Can I do it traditionally as well? I'm not very good at digital ...
It's still the first round, right?
