At some point after everyone is settled I want to do a time jump, a few months into the story for younger characters to age. Just checking, if you don't like this idea let me know and I won't do it

That's fine! I like to see how Howlite interacts with Fleur and Twister before that happens.. Then we can time jump.

Oh no!!! Earthquake!!!
It won't be destructive, but I would advise characters to seek shelter >.> Run for your life!

Storm
As I was about to scold Tumble, the mountain started to tremble. Snow piles creating thudding noises as they rolled down the cliffs and mountainside.
"Come here Tumble, quickly!" I call, and I pick her up by the scruff of her neck as I race deeper into the cave. I hold her tight as the shaking continues, clinging to the desperate hope of the cave remaining intact.

Opal
Stretching her pale colored wings wide, Opal bounded out of her little nook. She stopped, eyes wide, and stared in the direction of her brothers alcove. There was no immediate movement or shouts telling her to stop. She continued bounding as quietly as she could to the entrance of the cave. Close...closer...and suddenly she was out!

What Opal couldn't have possibly anticipated, having no memory of when Jasper brought her to this cave and having not ventured out since, was how steep the mountain just outside the cave was. Before she could stop herself she was skidding down a steep slope, trying desperately to find a hold with her paws. Finally, out of desperation, she used as much strength as she could to push herself off the slope and opened her wings wide. She glided for several seconds, seeming to cover a lot of ground and coming down on a slightly flatter part of the mountain. She tumbled a little on landing and her paw pads were a little sore, but was otherwise unhurt.

The only problem was...she had no idea where she was. Before she could think of trying to call for Jasper, an earthquake began, and poor Opal was stricken with fear where she stood.

Jasper
Jasper had always been a deep thinker, even as a tiny cub. His mother had always called him "her little artist", because she said his thinking always led to something beautiful. While Opal, unbeknownst to him, made a mad dash for freedom, Jasper was staring hard at his painting. He knew something was missing, some element the scene was lacking, but he simply could not think of what it could be.

A distant sound reached his ears and he tore his face away from the wall.

"Opal," he called sternly, suddenly remembering he had heard her stir from her sleep. Admonishing herself for being so negligent, he padded from his room to go find her. She was probably jumping off lsdges again trying to fly.

"Opal?" There was no answer and now a feeling of panic rose in his chest. Without even trying to look for her elsewhere he ran for the entrance of the cave. As he feared, the rock had been disturbed, but he could not see his sister anywhere in sight.

That was when the earthquake hit, and Jasper's heart nearly leapt out of his body.

"Opal!" he screamed shrilly. Where was she?!

Tumble
My eyes fly open wide, panic spreading throughout my body.
"Storm, something is wrong. It's not the quaking, it's something else." I whimper, feeling a little lightheaded.
"Hush child, earthquakes have that effect on the aicleobac. You will be fine." She hissed.
"No, really, it's different..." I felt like the troubled outdoors was calling to me. "I have a purpose out there, I can feel it... I have to know what it is." I leap over Storm's fluffy body and dart for the opening, only to fall on the shaky ground. I would have to fly...
"Don't you dare! I have had just about enough disturbance tonight!" Storm roared, pure fury in her eyes. Tumble didn't care, fire in her heart.
"I love you mamma I really do, but I can't stop this." And with that, I dash from the cave and find myself plummeting through the air. It is night and snowing so I can see nothing, but by instinct or magic I involuntarily spread my wings and am suspended In mid air. I am treading wind. Gasping, I try to make out the ground. I have never flown before so my muscles are already straining to support my body weight, however, the strong winds do not allow me to close my wings. One blast from another direction hits and I am hurtling sideways. I am launched into the powder snow of the mountain, and to my great surprise, I fall through. My aching body lands on ice, causing me to slide, still affected by the speed at which I hit the ground. I slide into a hot spring which sends my body into shock from extreme temperature change.

Storm
No! How could I let this happen! I race to the mouth of the cave and call out,
"Tumble!!" But my words fall silent on the treacherous night. The shaking makes it hard for me to keep balance, but I have experienced worse earthquakes in my lifetime. Sighing in frustration, I rush through the cave in the opposite direction.
"I will take the old tunnels my clan used before the battle." I say to myself, whiskers perking up as I use them to sense direction in the dark passage. I swiftly dash through the tunnels, listening for any sound or hint to where my adopted cub might be.

Lucent would immdietaly wake up, feeling tremble's below the earth "Great...Earthquake." He'd shoot up and walk outside of the cave and fly up, making sure he wasn't affected by the disaster

After he did, he would mentally curse himself, seeing that he could be seen in the open sky by any creature who whould actually look up "Well...i'll just have to deal with it." He'd hover there in mid-air, waiting for the earthquake to be over
