BTW, special thanx to all the folks who (1) verified which pet they were bidding on and (2) put their correct Player name in the body of their post. I didn't ask bidders to do either of those things, so don't feel bad if you didn't do these things. However, they were helpful.

By "verified which pet" I mean identified exactly which pet they were bidding on twice, like so--

"May I bid 4000 for pet #2^1st the Lucky Kelpari^2nd?"

If I take a look, and it turns out that Pet #2 is actually a Lucky Aeridini, then I know there's some kind of mixup in progress, and I can hopefully figure it out and fix it before things get really weird.

Also, a participant pointed out that it is courteous to ping the person you are outbidding. This is correct, and it is especially important to do this if the auctioneer (in this case, me) is absent from Sylestia for several days (which unexpectedly happened to me). I will point this out in future Newer Player Auctions.

Thanx Arle. Luckily Urgent Care sent me home with the meds I needed. (Also, it is a lot easier to become dehydrated than I ever realized! They gave me two bags of IV fluids before they'd agree to send me home.)
