Well, the price depends upon which mother you want for the egg. Even though Ratafia has the newest trait, Chow Tail, Rehkitz has more traits she can pass on to her egg. So an egg from Ratafia is 5,000 while an egg from Rehkitz is 6,000.

BTW, Rehkitz and Kir Royale are "Collector's Edition" Fawn Zolnixies. If you don't know what that means, Krinadon explains it in paragraphs 5, 6, and 7 of the first post on this thread; https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=24453

So a Fawn Zolnixi you find in the Festival Zone won't have quite the same colors as the Fawn Zolnixi who hatches from this egg, but both of them are Fawn Zolnixies. Kind of like the difference between a show-style Siamese cat and a traditional Siamese cat, or between a Rough Collie and a Smooth Collie.
