The number of genes/mut points available is actually not bad. Given, it does provide way more breeding to get the ultimate goal if you have large projects, but even breeding games have their challenges lol. Four on Enhanced and two on Normal. Seems legit to me anyway XD You can always breed more genes into a pet.

Now, I am not an artist at all, but I would be very interested if there could be a trait for Morkkos that looks like the Dragonborn helmet (or the Iron Helmet from Skyrim).
The Elder Scrolls Wikia has a picture of it Here, for the people who have not seen this helmet before.
Maybe it can be a Mutation 2 Gene, as an alternative for the Warden's Armor. That and the Bow for the Morkkos wouldn't be half bad either.
