"Remember, we explode when we die. There's nothing left to reanimate."

Anonymous gestured to the bones. *you see any explosions?*

"It's our flesh, not our bones, that explodes. The bones are pulverized."

Anonymous nodded. *alright, makes sense.*

Saria looked more closely at Anonymous' eyes, and suddenly recoiled. She backed into Saerien, and he put an arm across her shoulders, which seemed to comfort her.

Anonymous blinked, and the black faded. *what?*

"Something I saw in your eyes. I'm not sure what it was."

Anonymous nodded. *when I use dark magic, my eyes go black. If you look in them, you see everything I killed. You probably saw the others of your kind go into me.*

"Ah, I understand...AH!" Saria cried as a crossbow bolt found its way between two plates of her armor.

"Saria!" Saerien cried, catching her as she fell.

"Let me die. This is beyond your ability to heal," Saria whispered, blood trickling out the corner of her mouth.

"No!" Saerien mouthed as Saria went limp in his arms, yet, interestingly enough, didn't explode. A bolt struck Saerien in the back, making him stumble forward, and he spun around, eyes glowing. He sent a torrent of fire roiling down the tunnel, engulfing the lich which fired the bolt into him and Saria. It burned up quite quickly.

Anonymous gasped, and Coleen (girl from fututre) whipped out a device and put it on her skin. it powered on, and strangly, Sarias wounds began healing.
