Selkie's eyes weren't his normal sea blue nor Lorilei's sea green but a silver blue so dark they were nearly black. He followed without fighting.

"That would hurt Eva more than help her. She needs to learn stamina and this trip will be give her this." Morgan explained.

Locke slid to a halt and began to rummage through one of the crates.

Selkie helped him looking for the beeswax. He was humming an old tune.

Locke gave a firm nod. "Got it." He informed Selkie, dabbing some of the wax on his ears before passing it to the otter.

The otter did the same. His eyes still didn't change color though.





Starlight was away from the others near a river, she was humming the same song Selkie had been.

Locke nodded. "Good lad. Let's git this ta Skip," He said, going back up to deck.
