She heard Ricky's squeaks and stroked her ear gently. She lay back down but could not get sleep. Savanna heard voices, but one was new. New voice in the forest? thats not right! Someone else seemed to be talking telepathically with eric. She jumped up and too off into the forest. She found Eric in a small clearing and hid behind a tree, hoping not to be spotted

Ricky opened one of her eyes, noticing that Eric was gone.'Where is he going?' she asked, slowly walking away from her bed.

Eric didn't know why he was waiting. He just felt like he had to. It was very strange, like he was being manipulated. Struggling to move, he finally wrenched himself form that cold and soaked spot under the leaves. Meanwhile, Lukas had finally broken free of his room, and had yelled goodbye to his friend. Ignoring the bump in his room, He hurried down the elevator, pushing over doctors as he ran for the door. They had ripped the small bag of food out of his hands. "I'M COMING, BROTHER!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, and sprinted barefoot into the forest. The rain pelted him as he ran, leaving that place behind himself... He felt so free, ever since the day he arrived here, so long ago... Laughing as he pounded on the ground, out running the doctor's shouts, he ran as fast as he could to this glade he had pictured, where his brother would finally be waiting...

She perked her ears, hearing a person shouting in the distance.She watch as Eric disappear from her sights.

savanna had to sneeze. not now! she thought. she burred her face into her arms and sneezed, barely audibly, as she had a kitten's sneeze. She squatted silently, hearing shouting in the distance, wondering why eric was there, and if he was in trouble...

Eric meanwhile, muttering bitterly under his breath, had shook off the blanket. "Stupid voices, probably imagined it.. Yeah right, like I have a sibling." He rolled it up, and turned to walk away, when he froze.


Your not leaving! I'm so close!
Hey! I can't move! What are you doing?!
I'm escaping, and I'm going to find you! I've been looking for you everywhere, and figured you'd escaped!
Let me go! WHY CAN'T I MOVE?!
Cause I'm not letting you, silly! Your going to meet me whether you want to or not! Now sit down!
Moving as though he were being pulled by shackles, Eric sat down under the leaves again. He seemed to be struggling, barely moving his limbs. This was a mistake. He exploded with magic, but it made no difference. He was stuck. "Why- Can't I- Move?"
Stop! I'm almost there!
He struggled violently, but still couldn't move. And as if by magic, a fourteen year old boy burst out of the bushes, barefoot and soaked. "Brother! You waited!" Lukas exclaimed, running over to where Eric sat, unable to move. Eric fidgeted, then broke free of his invisible bindings. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" It was clear Eric was panicking, because he was starting to glow.
Calm down. I'm not here to hurt you, I'm your brother.
Almost at once, Eric began to dim, then lit up again. "NO! No! G-get aw-away from me-me! I-I don't have a bro-brother!" Eric stuttered, about to explode. Lukas saw this, and his eyes widened. "JASMINE! Remember? Jasmine!"
