Ivan bit his lip. Both directions seemed unfavourable. He'd never had experience with pirates. He took a breath. No time like the present to learn.

You continued along the coast and got lucky not to be attacked, although you swore one of the ships stated heading towards you at some point. it'd been 5 days since you left the other port and you reached Stockholm. Everyone seemed agitated as you arrived, you were tugged out of the boat and forced in from of the noble, who looked expectantly at you for news. you heard lots of excited whispers that someone had been sent in to help.

"I only came because I heard you needed help. You've been blockaded, da?" Ivan said. He didn't know if they could understand him or not. He only spoke Russian.

((Technically it should be all Far Northern countries language as a general in the game.. so you're forgiven..))

The nobleman nodded, "Yes, several lords are being help captive. They are blocking all trade in and out, they won't tell us what they want either."

"That must be really irritating for you." Ivan said, smiling. "So, what are you planning to do? Hopefully you aren't planning to sit on your bum all day while the Game Master makes me do all the work."

He crossed his arms and his foot started tapping, "They refuse to send reinforcements down. So we're stuck with requesting help from St Petersburg. We have a small fleet we can send out, but their captain was captured. We asked for a captain to be sent down. Or an army fleet. Or both."

"I'm an amateur..." Ivan said. "I have no experience with leading a fleet, and the only way I managed to get past them was because my boat is so small. I only heard about this because I got a barmaid drunk. By the way, have you invented IKEA yet? I wanted to buy some furniture to decorate my ship..."
