Shadow jolted awake. She knew something was wrong when she didn't see Wisp. She ran out of the den. She didn't want hunters to take anymore from her. She saw the hunters and attacked. She slashed out. Her body shook with the effort. She knew it didn't help her case that she was a colored one.

~Theon~
And this is why Theon never went outside without his sword! He dashed out after Ase gripping the two handed blade in his hands. His heart was pounding like a drum in his ears but still he heard every little detail of the battle around him. The hunters were panicked, they had been caught off guard just as much as anyone else. Several turned and ran, clearly not prepared to risk their lives here.

Theon could hear Ase fighting off several hunters and rushed to her side, slicing the arm of one clean off as he had been going in to stab her in the side of the neck. As the knife fell to the ground it slashed into his calf with a searing pain. He tackled the man away using his momentum as he dealt a rather clumsy slash to the mans chest and neck, he had meant to decapitate the man but no matter he would bleed out soon enough. He caught himself by using his sword as a cane and as he was preparing to stand back up he felt somthing ice cold plunge into his right shoulder and collapsed forward onto his knees.

Ase~
She backed away some in fear of losing herself just as the boar morkko rammed into the hunters. She turned then to find the man fallen. No! Was...was he dead? No! She had so much to show him, so much to tell, to ask. She had so much love to give to him! He couldn't die! She rushed to his side? "THEON!?!" She cried shaking him some. He wasn't responding. No! Tears seeped down her face on to his as she hugged him close to her chest. Then something happened. As she held him her hands and skin started to glow with a yellow shimmer even in the grey scale. Slowly the wounds upon the man healed though that left her dizzy and shaken as it did. "What?" She asked the man seeing the man open his eyes. Everything went black smartly after that though.

Altair-
Once the last of the hunters were killed her turned to Maria. She was bleeding but was still standing. He rushed to her rubbing his face on hers. "I thought I had lost you." He said licking her ear as he examined her wounds. She needed healing, medicine!

"Where is my daughter!" Shadow growled. "What happened to MY daughter!" She was upset and angry. She knew no one had noticed her but hopefully they had noticed her daughter. She looked around for Wisp.

~Theon~
Theon awoke to find himself lying on the ground with Ase holding him in her arms. Just as he did so, she collapsed forwards onto him. Slowly, painfully he pushed himself upright. He was sore but otherwise un injured.
The men were all either gone or dead, the only sounds were those made by the two morkko and the blue ryori who had apparently joined in on the fight.
"Ase?" he said as he gently nudged her, he could hear her breathing.

Wisp~
She peered out from the shadow of a tree and squeaked.

Altair-
He looked to the humans and walked towards them helping Maria towards them. "She is alive." He said gazing at the human. "Though she seems to be bleeding." He pointed out the cut along her side.

Shadow turned to her daughter. "I know your there Wisp." Shadow said. "Please don't do this to me...... I thought you were going to die. I can't deal with another death." She shook slightly.

~Theon~
"What!?" Theon felt Ase's side to find it soaked in blood. He was more panicked about the wound than he would normally have been, it wasn't deep and the bleeding had slowed some already. He didn't have any way to close the wound.

He forced himself to calm down, he would just have to bind it tightly for now. With shaking hands he used her shirt to tightly bind her side to hold the wound closed for the time being. He tried to make himself stand but found that he couldn't move much more than he had already. He leaned forward taking deep breaths. Calm down Theon, calm down.

Altair-
He was the only one that was unhurt thus he needed to step up. He looked at the humans then the Maria. Alright he needed to set the female aside then carry the humans to the tunnel. He looked back to the ryroi. "Maria I need you to stay here while I take the humans into the cave." She nodded at him before limping over to the side. The boar then turned to humans. "I need you to get on my back." He told the male.

~Theon~
Theon nodded and climbed onto Altair's back as best as he could while holding onto Ase though, he did require some assistance from the morkko to get the two of them secure.
