No prints or tracks, just scratches. It was odd, it was like nothing had walked in here for awhile, no marks or anything. It was a bit dusty at some parts, like it was old and there where cobwebs that hung around.

"That would be great, but it may not be," Will said with a sigh as he stared at the eyes, which watched him in silence, "At least cats are sorta friendly."
"I don't know. All I know is she isn't here," North said with a small sigh.

Churrio didn't like how it looked like nothing had come in here for a while even though she was positive Zio had been here. She dusted the cobwebs away and decided to clean the place up a bit.

"Cats are very friendly." Azrail says. "Perhaps ignore the eyes for a second? Unless you think whatever owns them knows where Zio is."

East was rolling on the ground, standing up, now covered in dust, "I sweep up dust! I'm a dust magnet! Come to me dust!"
North rolled her eyes as she let her hands melt, "Cleaning is easier with water."

"True. But not all are," Will pointed out as the eyes disappeared, he decided that maybe they would leave them alone, "Does anyone have any guesses where Zio is?"

"Sometimes water makes it harder to clean things up." Churrio notes as she attempts to dust East off, laughing at his dust magnet comment.
"Ok, maybe there's one or two cats that aren't all that nice... But most house cats are!" Azrail decides. "No guess on where she is. Churrio was the last to see them?"
"Yeah, and she moved. Like she wasn't supposed to." Churrio snaps her beak together angrily.

"Not exactly," North said as the floor quickly got covered in water, then evaporated, getting rid of all the dust and pretty much making the whole floor clean.
East made a very adorable face as Churrio brushed him off, but she was getting more rock dust on her then anything else.
"Well next time we can let her stay by herself," He said in a grumpy manner before something swooped down and scooped him up before disappearing again in the smoky air.

"That's one nice power. One I don't mind not having, however. No offense." Churrio didn't really like water. Churrio hugs East and tells him he's adorable. Then she goes ahead and preens herself because its a good thing to do if you're dirty and you're a bird.
Azrail jumps when something grabs Will. It takes him a moment to process it and then he's demanding for the release of his boyfriend. He doesn't mind the creature that stole Will to politely return him. Azrail prefers to keep both feet firmly planted on the ground. Heights scare him.
Churrio glances over at Azrail, looking at him like he's crazy. "Why are you yelling at the smoke to release Will? Will is right beside... Oh, did the smoke really take Will?" She flaps her wings twice, letting go of East as she flew to investigate the mystery of two lost friends.

North shrugged, "To each their own. My power is something I don't mind having, but to others it could seem like a curse or burden. Only I understand the importance of each of us, something a lot of people seem to have trouble understanding."
It was smoky as Churrio flew up and hard to breathe. There was something in the smoke, flapping it's wings as it held Will close. Will was having trouble breathing, not able to cope with so much smoke in his lunges. The thing's eyes watched Churrio, as if assessing how much of a threat it was. Then it dropped Will, much to his relief and dismay. Will spread his wings, but with his eyes watering so much from the smoke, he couldn't see. He landed awkwardly on the ground, falling on his knees as he let out a gasp before coughing from all the smoke. The thing had other plans, swooping over and attacking Churrio with sharp claws.

Churrio listens to North, about to put in that it would be nice to know everyone's role in the game of life, but the smoke cut her off. She had trouble breathing and her sense of direction faded as she starts to loose focus. Her feathers ruffle up as she realizes the smoke creature was attacking her. She squawks in surprise and anger, trying to see and think straight enough to defend herself. She drops from the sky after a few moments, though she manages to catch herself before she hit the ground. She lands and glares at the smoke creature, ready to take it on. If it dared come down and face her.
Azrail ran to Will's side and held him close. "I'm sorry..." He mumbles. He was sorry for not being there to catch him when he had fell and not reacting quick enough to keep Will from being caught in the first place. He then pulled back and double checked that Will was ok.

The thing hissed, watching her lose focus. It used that moment to attack viciously, eyes glowing dimly in the smoke. It looked angry, though it was hard to tell with the smoke hiding it, a camouflage. It doesn't seem bothered by any attack Churrio delivered, it went right through it, like it was made of smoke. It smiled when she retreated, screeching before diving down to attack again, not one to give up.
Will was a little dizzy from the smoke, which was distorting him. He did hug Azrail though, even though his head was spinning and his eyes where still watering. He tried to talk, but the smoke only made him cough. 'Don't apologize, not your fault' he signed before wiping his eyes.

Churrio clicks her beak together angrily and stands her ground. She tries to attack with her own deadly sharp talons and beak if the smoke creature came close enough. She felt rather discouraged and disappointed when her attacks seemed to do nothing to the creature. "Die! Die already!" Churrio demands, switching from defensive to attacking the smoke creature. She still wasn't feeling too well with the amount of smoke she had inhaled - and still was breathing in - but she had something she had to do. The smoke wasn't as bad and she could think and see a bit more clearly.

Azrail decides not to argue, wrapping his arms around Will again and healing him in case any damage had been done. Smoke and fire was dangerous. He'd seen the effects of fire and smoke before, having lost his family and friends to an out of control blaze.
