"I dont really know wherei came from, I woke up one day and....therein was. That night i got picked dup. Someone gave me the name Ema at some point." Ema shrugged

Ahelissa frowned and fingered her collar as she thought. If Ema didn't know where she came from, then where had she seen her? She racked her brain, feeling that the faint memory was somehow important. All she remembered were those indigo eyes. She sighed and shoved the mystery to the back of her mind. She could figure that out later. There were too many things going on right now to even breathe without someone pulling a sword on you, it seemed. "So, what are you planning to day at the ball?" Ahelissa asked, quickly switching subjects. "Honestly, I'm just going to hang out with the dessert table. Maybe even the roast hog. But mostly the deserts." She lowered herself onto the floor and crossed her legs to give her ankles a break.

Ema started to smile a little, from what little of her could be seen under that mop of hair. "i just want to dance. I love dancing...." she cuckled nerously. "Master doesn't mind me doing it as long as it's in the other rom, he's not a fan of the music style."

Ahelissa grinned. "I love music, and I can sing a bit, but I. Can't. Dance. At all. Trust me, I've tried. Maybe you could try to teach me?" She glanced at Ema hopefully. "Now, I don't have very high hopes, but.... Miracles do happen. And trust me on this, we're going to need a mighty powerful one if I'm going to be able to dance tonight." Her smile spread wider.
"Actually, there is one dance I can do. Only one, though. But, I'm, uh, kinda the greatest in all the world at it." She added nonchalantly, shrugging as if it was no big deal. "Here, you want a free sample?"
She looked behind her shoulder for a second, making sure none of the others were watching. Then, with the most serious expression she could muster, she started doing the chicken dance while sitting on the floor, complete with soft sound effects. She finished, then double-checked to make sure Remilia wasn't watching.
"I kinda promised not to embarrass her too much," she explained, a merry twinkle in her green eyes.

Ema giggled lightly, which sounded a little like a very high bell chiming. "Well st least you know that much, right? Yeah, I could try to teach you.....bt I'm not even sure how I know how to dance, i usually just follow my knstincts."

"Follow your instincts, huh? Then your instincts must be A LOT better than mine!" Ahelissa chuckled, then added, "If I followed my instincts and tried to dance, boy, would we be in trouble!" She laughed leaning back a little. She felt at ease with Ema, and actually now felt a little excited for the ball.

"Hey, well, I mean the balls going to be exciting anyways no matter what." Ema grinned. She then looked a little thoughtful. "Hey....I wonder.....Maybe my dancing instincts are from before all this? I mean it would make a lo of sense....bt I dont have a brand. So how would I have learned fancy dancing if I wasn't a higher class?" Shewondered.

Emrys felt her face heat a little as she squeezed Lidia's hand back. She gave another nod, releasing a breath slowly.
"Bless you and all your kindness." She whispered back, a small smile on her face. She felt so supported in this room of strangers, and she had to admit it made her feel just a little giddy to know that she would finally be able to do something for her country.
Amias hugged Riften back gently. "Me? Get hurt? Never." He replied with a smile. "Now, we should probably disappear before Ekon or Grift come looking for us. If Ekon traces me back to this room, the plan won't work out all that well."
Amias shuddered at the thought of this plan falling apart before it even began. It was probably their one and only chance at a new life, a new country.
The truth was, Remilia did notice Ahelissa speaking with Ema, (and the little dance), but she didn't say anything. The poor girl needed some cheer and relaxation in her life, because things were about to get very hectic in a short amount of time. She even let a small smile slip onto her lips as she stood up. Her eyes lit up golden as she summoned her magic, waving it over the long curls of her brown hair. The magic lifted her hair into a delicate bun on the top of her head, not a single strand out of place.
"Much better." She mumbled, as she hated the feeling of her own hair on her skin most times.

Lidia chuckle when she noticed Emrys's blush. She watched her people, a slight proud smile on her face. She hoped they'd enjoy their short stay underground until her father is only an evil man in a history book.
"Thank you, your majesty, my kindness has come from good friends.", Lidia said, playfully curtsying. She was very happy to have so many allies in one room, young, old, slave or royalty; all coming together in hopes of freedom.
Riften smiled back. "I care about you too much, okay.", He confessed with a huff. His heart stopped for a second at the mention of having responsibilities. The brightness in his eyes died again. "Alright, I guess we should tell them that we'll meet them at the ball." He motioned towards the others.
Riften sighed, pulling away and standing. He hated Grift with all of his heart, even if it wasn't good for him. He waited for Amias before he stepped to the side to let him pass.
(AAAAAhhh, these two need to kiss.)

Ahelissa frowned a bit as she considered Ema's suggestion. "I supposed it's possible, but it kinda do make sense." How could Ema's family wipe their daughter's memory, then erase all traces of them? "It would be pretty hard to pull off a stunt like disappearing like that, especially if they're royalty. I could kinda see how you might have royal blood." Ahelissa squinted at her. "You just seemed to be destined for greatness," She dramatically drew out the last part as a joke. "Meanwhile, the greatest, bravest thing I might do in life is run up to the king and scream, 'Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. Now go away before I taunt you a second time!' And then get thrown in prison or something." She grinned at Ema.
