"What?! Really?" She blinked her eyes as she dived into the water and started to swim towards the hole to get a better look. He was right, it does seem to get bigger. She then swam back to the surface to talk to him, "Let's see how far you can go before having to turn around.. Maybe we can get you to use your gills too!" She then gave him a playful splash before diving back into the water, swimming for the hole.

(I'm so sorry about the lateness of this. This is another reason I've been hesitant to try RPing again. I just have so much to do during the day sometimes I just don't have the spare time or the energy to write...)
Jasper
Jasper stared at Tumble, his expression seemingly blank. It had been a long time since he had interacted with one of his own kind, besides Opal. He listened as Tumble explained how the mountain lion had come to be her mama, though he was distracted occasionally by the way the fire reflected off of her pure white coat.
"I remember hearing of the great battle," he said when he had finished, shifting uncomfortably as she got so emotional again, "We were safely tucked away in our caves though. It was an earthquake that killed my family, and several others. I found Opal trying to dig her parents out of a rock slide" He trailed off, gazing broodily into the fire for a moment. Tumble reminded him so much of Opal when he had found her that day. So alone, so distraught. He took a deep breath.
"Look, when we find Opal...you're welcome to come back to the cave with us. It's not much, but it'll keep you warm."
Opal
Clinging to Spikes back as he headed for his home was great fun, but Opal was still glad when he finally stopped and let her down. She was, after all, still very young and tired easily. She looked around at the cave the dinosaur had brought her to. It looked much like the cave she and Jasper shared though it was much hotter here.
"You're funny," she said, giggling at the large creature as he bounced about. She bounced with excitement herself as his voice echoed loudly. It was then she realized just how tired she really was.
Without preamble, and without hearing what Spike was saying about her being able to stay here, Opal curled up where she stood and fell asleep promptly.

(It is totally fine Brit)
Tumble
My ears perk up and I sit up a little straighter, listening to his story intently.
"I am really sorry about your family, I know how you feel." I purr, trying to comfort him. "I might be a little odd, I don't know how I am supposed to be because you are the first aicleobac other than myself that I have ever met..." I take a deep breath, feeling shy near a stranger for the first time in my life. I sensed that if I jump in to fast he wouldn't ever trust me.
"But maybe you can show me how, teach me how to hunt, survive on my own? You sound like perfect guidance, and Opal was lucky that you found her when you did." I mew, curling my tail around my front paws, and nibbling a piece of ice out of my wing. "Also, it sounds like you've got your paws full... If you could just teach me survival skills, I could be out of your fur. I am tempted to accept the offer of staying in your cave... But I feel like I might be an intrusion. It seems like the family I come from were not the kindest of sorts, I would hate to draw any bad attention from other creatures to your cave. What if I endanger you?"
(Spike is going to smell the purefeather breed and become angry, since they stole his rocks before the great battle.)
Spike
I sit up and watch as the cub falls asleep, then feel my throat burning. I trot outside and spit up another pool of lava, which trickles into the small lake I have been working on. I stomp around looking for more stones to eat, my stomach now empty. I figure the cub will stay asleep, and if it wakes, it probably won't be able to climb the rockpile out which is my doorway.

Lucent
I'd watch the spirit's, walking around me, mouthing something to me. I'd nod to them, then i would stop glowing, and swim up, gasping for air. "Uggh...i feel more...powerful." I'd say between pants, before swimming up to Storm. "Sorry about that, they...gave me something." I'd yawn, before climbing out of the pond and walking away from her to shake my pelt, then returning to lay next to her, wrapping my wing around her.

Volatile
I take a flying leap from the ledge that separates Spike's territory from mine, and land on my speedy paws on his rocky terrain. I only pause for a brief moment before taking off again, kicking up pebbles and heading for Spike. I can both see and hear the lumbering thing, and I approach him quickly, smelling meat on his rocky flesh.
"Spike, dear cousin, do you have any fresh prey to spare?" I ask innocently, eying him.
"No." He says, "The only thing I eat are rocks and you know it! How many times do I have to tell you you are not welcome here!" He roars, and I have to jump to dodge a swing of his tail. Hissing,
"Oh but dear Spike, dear Spike you know the desert is barren and prey is scarce." I say, hunching over and dropping my head. "You must have something you could spare me?"
"I said no, rat!" He roars loudly, shaking the canyon. He charges me, and I am nearly crushed between his snapping teeth. I flee into a small space he cannot find me, and make my way to his den. I see the pale piece of meat lying there and lick my lips, now is my chance.

Storm
I coordinate rolling my eyes and glancing at him with a playful smile,
"Oh almighty Lucent, Hero of the Moon, what have the spirits gifted you now?" I tease, nudging him with a little honery streak.
"And while the spirit's are handing out magical things, do you think I got anything." I tilt my head to the side with curiosity, eyes drifting upward to see the aqua glow of the water reflecting on the cave's roof.

The ground shook as Quake made his way to the river. He roared announcing his presence in the forest. Injured and hungry he was ready to kill anything.

I'd tilt my head. "I heard one thing...levitation?" I'd say a bit questioningly. "They said you should have it, but i just got things to use at my leisure..nothing huge, mainly just more power to channel, and i got stronger naturally." i'd say, seeing the somewhat purplish flame that appeared every so often, but not permanently.

Twister and Howlite were currently in the water within the cave that had a whole in the bottom of the clear water. Twister had heard a noise, but she went back into the water, waiting to follow Howlite's lead on checking out the hole that lead to somewhere neat.

Storm
"Hmm let me see..." I nuzzle his nose affectionately before focusing on the water. I focus as hard as I can, and see a circular area of the surface begin to gain a purple shine. I focus harder, closing my eyes and relaxing my mind.
Almost like a sonar, I see in my mind the sphere of water, jiggling and wiggling, rising into the air. All I can see is the water, the everything around it is velvet black and shimmery. I lift it about three feet above the water's surface before my head starts to hurt and my concentration breaks. My eyes fly open and I watch as it falls into the water with a splash that wets my muzzle. I instantly try to wipe it off with my big furry paws.
