He paled, realizing what happened. *you killed them.* he whispered. *you let them burn.*

The angel glances at him for the first time since grabbing him. She's eerily calm. In fact, she's more than calm- she's bored. As if burning down this rare safe place is no more interesting or emotional than working retail.

He looked up at her, a face of horror and rage stricken on his face. *how could you?* he said softly.

For a long moment, she just gives him a blank, bored stare. Then she finally speaks. ,, They werent worth saving. ,,

*how can you say that? they had freinds. families. and you murdered them! ythey may look different, bhut there people like you and me! if anything, you all,* he pointed at the angels, *are more monsterous than they are! i mean, um, were.*

She sniffs dismissively and doesnt even bother to respond. She simply shoved him over to the other survivors then heads back into the flames.

he growled angrily, tempted to run back into the fire to get away from these murderers.

Many of the others are injured. One of the humans is missing half her arm, and many of the others have some bad burns. The rare ethereals arent quite as injured, but the ice lady still has some bad burns on her legs. Hes one of the few who didnt get injured from the flames.

and now he wants to run back into the flames but hes to mad to care.

The angel soon returns, dragging two more humans behind her. One of them is dead- barely even recognizable from the horrid burns. The other is only barely alive.
