He was horrified, and looked around for an exit or the source of the fire.

The garden, probably.

He began crawling that way.

He suddenly feels himself get picked up. The pain and heat from the fire suddenly vanishes. And yet, he can still see the raging flames and smog- just not feel them.

E looked around, confused.

It's a tall, lean lady. She looks a lot like a grim, but her wings are white.

He whispered, *are you an angel?*

She completely ignores him, headed at a brisk walk towards the garden.

He followed nervously.

Soon they reach the garden. It's the only area not on fire. There's a couple other angels there, along with the few humans living here, and the special creatures like the fire and ice ladies. But that's all. No grims, no strixes, no kenindrae.
