Sighing, he stop smiling, giving him a more serious look. " Very well, for your futur and the one of others around you, it would be in the best interest to keep silent on what you have heard. This isn't a threat, just the best course of action for evryone involved."

"Who said I was going to say anything"? Long as you lot aren't gonna start roping me into anything I'm more then happy to sit back, relax, and let things play out." Nicote smirked.

He nod. " Good, i'll keep your unsatisfaction toward some members of the court for myself then, no nead to bring sutch a trivial thing up to the king anyway."

On those words he went back to his sister calmly, getting ready to return his swords as drawing on his shaulders.

Nicote started to leave then realized that Ema was still on the floor. Sighing, he went, found a large book, and saw down to read. From experience he knew that she wast getting up until she recovered from shock and that...could take a while.

Emrys had stayed deathly quiet, her face and body frozen in fear at sudden memories of the king. She held her stomach slightly, feeling sick. The sight of Nicote had brought a sudden fear to her heart that she thought she'd gotten rid of in the past few months.
She got ahold of herself when Lidia apologized, and a weak smile came to her face as she waved dismissively.
"I understand completely. No need for the apology." Her voice was a little choked as she swallowed, trying to clear her throat a bit. Ever since she watched her parents die, she always clammed up like this at the worst moments. "We do what's necessary and he was, or rather is a threat."

Amias smiled brightly that he got the response he wanted from Riften, that and he was truly hopeful now.
"Is it because I'm just that good at making you flustered?" He teased every so slightly, his smile still as big as it was moments ago. "The offer is still there when you want it."
Amias suddenly shifted his attention to Nicote, and his smile faded. This wasn't very good news to have the king's advisor in the room, was this how quickly luck switched sides? He stood up, staring at Nicote with his hand raised in case he had to do anything. He didn't say anything though, just listened and stood there.

" It should be fine... they have their own raison to keep quiet." He sigh, Nicote was alwais an odd one but one thing that Averill knew was that the older man was good at keeping things for himself, at least for now. He ajusted his grip on the handle of his swords and slid them in his back, under his shirt, where they vanish replaced by tatoos on his skin.

Lidia put her hand on her shoulder and smiled softly. "Hey, are you alright?", She asked softly, noticing her panic. She brushed off the subject of Nicote arriving unexpectedly. Even though she just actually met Emrys she felt an almost unnoticeable bond. Her face had completely softened now, her rage had dissipated with no trace.

"M-maybe...", He murmured in response. "I might just need to hold that offer for later though..." He cracked a smile, still blushing.
Riften watched Amias, taking his hand in his small one. He was still shaking, the only person that terrified him more than Nicote was the king. He got enough guff to glare at Nicote but looked back down out of fear of being slain. "Amias, sit down.", He murmured, scared for him.

Nicote pretended to ignore theqorl. As usual.
