Her eyes started sparkling as she watched.

He sighs, glaring at Cain. He walks out, sitting in front of Zale's door.

Zale heard Rei, but he only shifted his position: being coiled up to having one leg out and head against the door. After a moment of awkward silence Zale spoke up. "What do you want?" , He muttered, just loud enough for Rei to hear clearly. He looked at the floor, licking his lip.

He shakes his head, "Nothing." He leans his head against the door, looking down the hallway.

Zale smiled weakly, looking at his hands. He remembered the old dragon telling him to never take off his bandages. He stood, walking to his mirror. He reached to the back of his head, he undid the bandage. Today was supposed to be the day he took them off, anyway. Zale looked at his reflection; a long scar stretched from his right eye, over the bridge of his nose, and across his cheek. He sighed, rubbing it. There was no shock of pain, just smooth skin.

Zale turned, unlocking the door. "You can come in, if you want." , He said quietly.

He falls against the floor when Zale opens the door. He laughs, looking up. "Sure, thanks." He quickly scrambles to his feet, stepping inside.

Zale smiled, combing his hand through his hair. "I never knew you to be clumsy." , He teased.

"I'm just full of surprises." He winks.

Zale smiled, kissing his nose. "So am I." , He purred, placing his hand on Rei's cheek. Zale stroked it with his thumb.

He leans into Zales touch, sighing.
