You start carefully walking into the dark and overgrown forest hoping that Meteorite went this was and not up the cliff. You could swear that vines just out of your view were moving, but every time you looked tab them they'd be completely still.

"Waiting? Waiting for what?" I inquire, looking down the ally too.
It stumbles backwards looking somewhat afraid. Your companion growls and wiggles out of your grip landing on the ground gracefully. The large dragon creature imitates your companion again and takes a curios step forward.
What should you do?

I watch it's reaction before picking up my companion, soothing it softly before suddenly get hit with an idea.
I reach slip my backpack off my back and take out a small amount of food, offering it to the dragon in front of me hesitantly

I think about buying some food, potions and other necessities. It could be beneficial to do so.
He sheaths the knife at his side and glares at you judgmentally. You are sure that he doesn't like you much at all. The girl seems slightly less afraid as she steps forward next to the boy and speaks.
"If you came from the forest like us, why did you chase me?"
You captiously approach the tree dreading what might be hidden by the leaves. You reach up to the lowest branch seriously considering if this is the best idea in the world, but before you can get up on top of it a creature jumps from the leaves landing right next to your hand. It squeaks and watches you.
What should you do?
